AORTA was founded in 1996 as a photographic duo consisting of Kristian Krän and Marco Grizelj. Their favorite field consist in shooting people and staged photography and they are always passionate about exploring aesthetically diverse concepts. Besides photography, AORTA do their own set design and post production and they also run a 200 sqm studio in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Another passion the duo share is deep electronic music and they have been DJing and arranging festivals with the Locus Soundsystem since 2001.
