Henrik Halvarsson started his path to photography as a photo studio intern. After a short period as a student of the History of Art, Henrik decided to trust his gut and explore his talent as a photographer. Being in the 90’s, influences around him was built on fashion and music and the rocket in his career came with the Grunge era. He used a brown back drop instead of the white and Magazines and clients jumped on it. His first big campaign was for Diesel and one led to many more followed by shoots for I-D and Vogue and as DoP with Jonas Åkerlund in his Ray of light for Madonna and Prodigy’s Smack my Bitch Up. Henrik is now one of Swedens top Photographers and works in between commercial and fashion with both film and stills.
